The Power of the Poor and the Purpose of Profit
Here’s a story about three organizations dedicated to improving quality of life by empowering people. The first is about a school in India named “Barefoot College”. The other two are about for-profit enterprises that use their business to enrich lives. The last one in particular reminds me of The Fortune at the Bottom of the Pyramid: Eradicating Poverty Through Profits.
